Founded in 1995, in Sagres the extreme SW of the Iberian Peninsula, within the Parque Natural do Sudoeste Alentejano e Costa Vicentina.

Industry

We provide maintenance support for the local aquaculture industry and fishing fleet; as well as running trials in marine conditions for materials that are under development for maritime use.

Research

active participation in scientific research projects with an emphasis on the application of remote sensing to the aquaculture facilities, validation of ocean colour sensors and the sustainable management of the coastal zone.

Education

Support with equipment and human resources for coastal field studies by both local and foreign universities, and other educational institutions
